Measuring Made Easy!

Please refer to the drawing below.

STEP 1:

Measure at Top, Middle & Bottom between your Mounting Surface (where hinges will attach), and the surface that your latch will go into. If you do not already have mounting surfaces, we will build you a gate with two posts, one with hinges attached and one for the latch. You can pour your concrete pillars below the ground (36” deep) and the posts can be attached with concrete anchors into these pillars.

STEP 2:

Whichever measurement is the SMALLEST will be the worth of your gate (including hinges and 1” gap for the latch).

If your measurements are Top: 38”, Middle: 37.75” and Bottom: 38.25” - the space within which we will compose your gate is 37.75”.
